Kim H. earned her B.A. and M.A. from the University of the West Indies. She has worked in Jamaica and South Carolina teaching music at the elementary level. She enjoys playing the piano, traveling, and good eats.

Kim is currently teaching music at the American School of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
